Last year, the stock market created 1,000,000 NEW millionaires and some of those millionaires were children. Yet, for far too long, the Black community has been left out of this wealth-generating market.
This summer, for 4 weeks, I'm demystifying and breaking down the stock market so that kids (4th-12th grade) and their families can start building wealth one stock at a time.
WHAT MAKES THIS CLASS DIFFERENT?
As a financial literacy teacher AND a former Wall Street Analyst, I'm putting everything I know into 4 LIVE class sessions to teach your child how to make money and build wealth in the stock market. In addition to getting my self-paced curriculum, I'm giving each participant access to a virtual online trading platform where they'll manage a $100,000 portfolio. Operating in real-time, students will get to virtually invest in real stocks, bonds, and mutual funds traded on the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ.
I WILL TEACH YOUR CHILD:
how to identify assets vs liabilities
why compound interest is a kid's best friend
how to become a partial owner of a Fortune 500 company RIGHT NOW!
how to read stock quotes
how to research publicly traded companies
how to pick stocks, bonds, and mutual funds
how to open a brokerage/custodial account
how to create a stock watchlist
how to find stocks that generate income (dividend stocks)
how to execute a trade
how to manage risk, and so much more!
This experience has benefited our entire family and was just the first step to future endeavors. We are so grateful to Claudia and her masterful teaching. The background knowledge she's provided us with will make it that much more possible for us to continue learning about investing and financial literacy with confidence. We will definitely be signing up again for the next class.
Our whole family learned about the stock market and smart investing. To listen to our boys talk about angel investors and venture capital among other things, with confidence, was quite impressive. We wanted our boys to learn what no one taught us about financial literacy as young people and the Stock Market Camp got the job done.
