The ABCs of Black Wall Street Board Book
The ABCs of Black Wall Street takes readers on a nostalgic trip through the heart of Tulsa's historic Greenwood District. In the first ABC book dedicated to Black Wall Street, children quickly realize that "A" isn't always for "apple."
From Madam C.J. Walker and O.W. Gurley, to Williams Dreamland Theater and Osborne Monroe's Roller Skating Rink, children learn about the innovators, activists, and establishments that created one of America's wealthiest Black communities.
I love it. I have 11 great nieces and nephews that I have started to buy for with this first book for the oldest who is 11! I want to encourage all of them to learn how to manage their money early in life and to attend an HCBU for college! Thank you!
interesting picture for learing, good printing quality
A nice change of Black History influencers. I wanted info about the actual story
This is an amazing book that offers children the opportunity to learn about Black Wall Street. Exposing children to this flouring Black community offers them the chance to understand Black Excellence in all of its glory. In addition, this book provides Black children with aspirational figures to be like. I love this book and I am so happy to support a fellow Black business that is producing high quality literature !
The books are great! My son loves all the colors and illustrations. And best of all, the books have great information about Black Wall Street and HBCUs. I highly recommend.
